In Angie Vásquez we work each piece by hand, through a transparent production process, responsible and sustainable. We are careful to take care of every detail and select high quality materials of national origin chosen with conscious criteria. We use LWG certified skin, reducing waste by manual techniques that value time, authenticity and well done. Beauty is in the essence of the trade, the durability of each bag and in its ability to accompany each look with style and versatility.
Our philosophy is based on the fusion of artisanal techniques with a contemporary approach. We value beauty in every detail and commit ourselves to sustainable practices that respect the environment and promote an ethical and responsible fashion.
We defend the Slow Fashion and the author design as a conscious way of creating, Where each handmade piece in Spain, prepared in limited editions or unique pieces, respecting the true value of artisanal work.
There are paths that are chosen and others that are revealed. Mine began in architecture, Designing spaces with balance, Structure and purpose. But there was a deeper need that always accompanied me: to create with my hands, of transforming ideas into objects with soul and their own beauty.
My artistic sensibility and my training in architecture and plastic arts led me to explore different disciplines and cultures. Journey, I learned, formed me, But it was in the leather goods where I found a language that united everything I am: technique, intuition, passion for detail and love for the well done.
Thus my brand Angie Vasquez was born, A firm that bears my name because it represents my personal story, my way of looking at the world and expressing what I feel. It is a life project that reflects my values: commitment, beauty, authenticity and evolution.
From my workshop in Lanzarote – Island that inspires me with its volcanic energy, unique beauty and its creative silence – Design and elaborate each bag in a completely handmade way. Work taking care of each stroke, each cut, Each stitch, With respect for the trade and for the time that requires what is done well.
I am an architect, Artist and artisan and above all women. Mother of two children who inspire me to grow every day, To overcome me, to leave a legacy made with their hands and heart.
Every bag I think is part of me: It is structure, It is art, It is careful, It is history. It is my way of saying that beauty can be built, Even in the most uncertain times.
